SiNaCa Studios - School of Glass Will Be Coming Soon to Fort Worth

A new arts venue, SiNaCa Studios-School of Glass, is now being established in North Texas. The plan for SiNaCa Studios is to build a school for glassblowing, kiln-formed glass, flameworking, and mixed media sculpture.

The brainchild of several local glass artists, this will be the first school of glass that is available to everyone in the community - from the beginning student to the professional - who wishes to perfect their skill. The mission of this group is "to provide an opportunity to experience the rich tradition of glass as a creative medium through education and studio involvement."

There is avid support for this project from individual volunteers who are prominent leaders in the Fort Worth arts scene, artists of various disciplines and galleries in the Fort Worth and Dallas area. Property is already being sought for this project and the school has been incorporated toward its non-profit status.  We are currently working on a lease space in a fantastic area of Fort Worth for our "model" facility.

To introduce the community to SiNaCa Studios, a glass runway show, Vitro Moda -   Where Glass Rules the Runway,  is held every year at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center.  We just completed Vitro Moda 3 which was our most successful event ever.

SiNaCa Studios also has an elite group of fundraisers called the Glass Ambassadors.  We are currently forming our second group of Ambassadors.  If interested, please contact our Executive Director, Tim Todd, at (817) 253-8897.
