Our Vision is To Inspire, Inform and Enhance well-being through the art of glass.
A decade plus-long anchor of the arts landscape in the Near Southside cultural district, SiNaCa Studios School of Glass and Gallery is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that elevates and educates in the art of glass, employs and exhibits talented glass artists, and empowers individuals and community through creativityand self expression.
Formal art exhibitions are not new to SiNaCa Studios’, and this exhibition revisits our roots when we exhibited glass at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, and combines that experience with current visiting artists and residency programming.
This years events will begin with an opening reception at The Pool a brand new arts venue located at 1801 8th Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76110 within Everly Plaza on Saturday March 5th from 5p-9p with a silent auction and artist exhibition, and will conclude on Saturday March 26th during the FWADA “Gallery Night.” SiNaCa highlights all that contemporary glass art can do while raising funds to advance the nonprofit mission. The best parking will be to the north of Everly Plaza at the Cook Childrens Pediatric Clinic.
Located in Fort Worth’s Near Southside, SiNaCa Studios School of Glass and Gallery Founded in 2007 by a group of artists, who wanted to support the community with a state-of-the-art, environmentally responsible glass art educational facility. But with our ever changing social and health landscape, we are learning to change too. We still provide classes for everyone (beginners to professionals) and we support the community with on-line demonstrations. Our community support programs are morphing; after school programs for at risk-youth, therapeutic programs for veterans and victims of domestic violence, and art programs for unsheltered youth. But, we need your help to alter these programs and to keep them available to those who benefit from the healing environment of glass art.
Vitro Moda supports SiNaCa Studios’ mission to provide North Texans an opportunity to experience glass art through events, education and community programs. 100% of silent auction proceeds and 50% of sales of featured in the exhibition will benefit SiNaCa Studios.
