Wedding | Commemorative

Thank you for your interest in allowing SiNaCa Studios to be a part of your wedding day.  We offer many options for the couple to commemorate their unity with glass.  You can choose either raw materials (glass frit) or a pre-made glass vessel to use during your ceremony or create a lasting heirloom by making a custom cake topper, bouquet or boutonniere. We also have unique options for reception guest books and thank you gifts. We do require a signed contract and a deposit for you to receive the colored glass or glass vessel.  The deposit is nonrefundable once you mix the colored glass or break the vessel and will be used as a deposit toward your final invoice.

How it works:

Step 1 – Send us an email to info@sinacastudios.org or heidi@sinacastudios.org with your information and/or any questions that you may have about the process.

Step 2- Get a Quote: Decide on options (unity ceremony, guest book, heirloom, thank you gifts) & discipline or item type (glass blown, kiln formed, flame worked)

Step 3- Get a Contract: Once you acknowledge and approve a quote, we will send you a contract to sign

Step 4- Return the signed contract with $50 consultation fee

Step 5- Schedule consultation with artist

Step 6- Pay the remainder of the deposit and pick up selected color frit/vessel/tiles

Step 7- Return the glass to us and choose the level of involvement you would like to have in the creation of the final piece of art

We have a modest selection of colors on hand at SiNaCa that can be used for the ceremony. In many cases we will have to order your specific colors. Due to shipping, and manufacture availability we request consultations be a minimum of 4 weeks prior to your ceremony.

For the Ceremony

Ceremony Commemorative Piece:
You choose up to six colors for your vessel or glass frits. If you are using glass frits, they will be distributed in whatever proportion you desire to equal one pound and will be delivered to you in individual baggies to be used in the ceremony.  You choose the shape for your final piece of art. After the ceremony, you will return the glass to us and choose the level of involvement you would like to have in the creation of the final piece of art. Any item marked with an * is not available for a group event. The types of glass that we use are unique to each studio that they are used in. To ensure compatibility, all item choices must be selected from the same studio column. We cannot allow the couple to change studio/item types once the deposit is paid.

For the Bridal Party & Reception

Guest Book:
At the reception have your guests sign their names or write short messages to you in glass. The glass tiles can then be returned to us and we will fuse them into one of the following shapes for the couple to keep and display as a memento of all the family and friends that shared in their big day. You choose the level of involvement you would like to have in the creation of the final piece of art.
